This one’s got a special place in my heart, and the story behind its creation is exciting, emotional, and downright strange. It’s a story I will for sure write here once I have the time to. Until then, I’ll give you some quick details.
The virtual reality experience is based off of Mary Terhune’s real life event a few decades ago. I had the pleasure of working with her personally on it during my time at Natural Bridges Films, and while the experience is dramatized, the feeling it conveys is what is more important. It is still in the works, and we have not released a build for this yet because development has been put on hold for a while. I’m also over here in Japan working for a masters degree, so I haven’t gotten around to finishing it.
This was my first creation as a professional VR designer, and I can’t thank enough the people who helped make it possible for me to do this. It was an honor working with such kind, warmhearted, and enthusiastic people.
